Cosmetics comes from the Greek word KOSMOS and is understood as the principle of order and harmony. Maintaining and promoting the harmony of the body – that is what we see as beauty. The recipes from ancient Egypt show that it is possible to make excellent creams and ointments from purely natural products. At that time, synthetic preservatives, emulsifiers and perfumes were unknown.

In this country, Benedictine monks and nuns in particular have preserved and passed on centuries-old knowledge about the healing effects of herbs and their cultivation. Nature offers us a wealth of high-quality vegetable oils and herbs that maintain the elasticity and resilience of the skin and help it look healthy.
This ancient knowledge is also incorporated into the production of our natural cosmetics.

We use the best vegetable oils, wool wax and beeswax as a natural basis. They care for our skin, making it supple and delicate. This base is complemented by our spagyric essences, real essential oils and a variety of active ingredient-rich essences from medicinal herbs. All ingredients contained are of Demeter or highest organic quality.

In our spagyric essences we use mineral-rich spring water from our artesian monastery spring. This holistic approach makes our natural cosmetics exceptionally high-quality and effective skin care. It helps every skin type to find and maintain its balance again.
